Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes)

Ingredients

  • 250g Korean rice cakes (tteok) or substitute: boiled potato wedges
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1½ cups vegetable stock or water
  • 3 tbsp Wok Tok By Veeba’s Korean Chilli Sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar (Optional)
  • Spring onion, sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions

Boil stock in a deep pan.

Add Korean Chilli Sauce, Soya Drizzle, and sugar. Stir to make a thick sauce.
Add rice cakes, simmer 7–8 mins until chewy and coated.
Garnish with spring onion & sesame seeds. Serve hot.
