About Viraj Bahl - Founder & Managing Director

Viraj Bahl (born September 28, 1982) is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder and Managing Director of VRB Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd. (Veeba), one of India's leading sauce and condiment manufacturers.

Born in Delhi and educated at Singapore Polytechnic in Industrial Engineering, Viraj started his career as a 2nd Engineer with MAERSK shipping company. In 2013, he took the entrepreneurial leap by founding Veeba, initially selling his house to fund the venture.

Under his leadership, Veeba has grown from a startup to a ₹1,000+ crore company, becoming one of India's most recognized sauce and condiment brands. His journey from facing initial setbacks to building a market leader exemplifies determination and strategic vision.

Viraj has been recognized with numerous awards including Economic Times 40 Under 40 (2019), Entrepreneur of the Year 2020, and was featured in Business Today's Top 50 Most Admired Entrepreneurs. In 2025, he joined Shark Tank India Season 4 as a judge and investor.

He is married to Ridhima Bahl and has two sons, Rajvir and Ranvir. Despite his business success, Viraj advocates for work-life balance and has spoken against excessive working hours for employees.
