Pasta & Pizza Sauce - Tandoori
An Italian favourite with a unique Indian twist! Try this delectable tomato-based sauce, infused with aromatic. Indian spices, for a distinctive tandoori flavour in your pastas and pizzas.
Pizza Bread Baskets
Ingredients:
- White Bread slices
- 1 Round cookie cutter
- 1 Muffin tray
- ½ cup blanched corn
- ½ onion finely chopped
- ¼ red bell peppers finely chopped
- ¼ green capsicum
- Sal & Peeeper
- Veeba Pasta Pizza Sauce Tandoori
- Veeba Eggless Veginnaise
- 5-6 olives sliced
- ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
- Step 1:Bread basket’s prep: Pre-heat the oven to 180 degree C, and carve our a circular shape of the bread slice using a cookie cutter. Roll it flat using a rolling pin. Using a muffin tray brush it with olive oil, so that the bread doesn’t stick to the base.
- Step 2: Press the rolled bread circles into the muffin tray to form bread baskets. Bake for about 5-7minuts until crisp.
- Step 3:In a bowl, combine, ½ cup blanched corn, ½ onion finely chopped, ¼ red bell peppers finely chopped, ¼ green capsicum, pepper and salt to taste.
- Step4:Add 3 tbsp. Veeba Pasta Pizza Sauce Tandoori and 3 tbsp. Eggless Veginnaise and mix well
- Step5: Put a dollop of the portion of the mix in the crisp bread baskets, add 5-6 olives sliced on top, garnish with ½ cup grated with cheddar cheese, bake until golden crisp and bubbly.
Ratatouille Parcels
Ingredients:
- Olive oil to season the pan
- 1 tsp garlic chopped finely
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. fine chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp. chopped zucchini, brinjal, bell peppers
- Veeba Pasta and Pizza Sauce Tandoori
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 wonton sheets
- Step 1: Pour 2 tsp of olive oil to season the pan, add 1 tsp of garlic and saute it
- Step 2:Add 2 tbsp finely chopped onions, add salt to taste, combine with 2 tbsp. chopped tomatoes and 2 tbsp yellow and green zucchini, 2 tbsp of fresh bell pepper and 1 tbsp. of brinjal, add some crushed pepper and salt to taste.
- Step 3: Add Veeba Pasta and Pizza Sauce Tandoori to bring in the tangy flavor and combine well.
- Step 4:To prepare the wanton sheets: Cut the sheets in 8 squares, place a spoonful of Ratatouille in the center of the sheet and place another wonton sheet on top of the Ratatouille.
- Step5: Seal the edges of the wonton using the slurry made with refined wheat flour and water.
