According to the research, the pancake is originated from Greece and Rome. It is a thin and round shape flat cake that is savoured by the various Sweet toppings and servings. Nowadays people from every region on earth cheerfully accepting the dish and have fallen in love with the flavors. You can also go and taste the light, fluffy and smooth pancakes with all the delicious flavors of the topping like honey, caramel, and many fruit toppings. The best thing about the pancakes can be topped with numerous things. The dish is so classic that you would never be able to deny having it if you have tasted it once. So, today we are going to talk about the recipe buttermilk pancakes with strawberry and mango fruit toppings.

Ingredients for the Recipe:

  • One and a half cups all-purpose flour
  • One tablespoon sugar
  • Two teaspoons baking powder
  • Half teaspoon baking soda
  • Half teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • A pinch of salt to taste
  • One egg lightly-beaten
  • One and a half cups buttermilk 
  • Three tablespoons vegetable oil or butter
  • Veeba Strawberry fruit topping
  • Veeba Mango fruit topping

Directions to Cook:

  1. First of all, take a large bowl and add flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt to make the batter. The batter should not be so thick or very flowy, keep the consistency of the batter sticky and maintained.
  2. After making a perfect batter add baking powder, baking soda to make the batter light and fluffy and let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Take another small bowl and put the egg, buttermilk, and oil and then whisk these altogether.
  4. Now add egg mixture to the prepared batter so that the mixture gets combined evenly and there are no lumps remain in the batter. Also, do not overmix it.
  5. Now comes the time to heat the pan over medium flame. Spray with non-stick cooking spray or brush the pan with butter or oil.

6. Pour one-fourth cup of the batter onto the pan and let the batter spread or you spread the batter it is not spread evenly or is thick.

7. Cook for one to two minutes from one side unless it becomes fluffy, dry and golden brown and then flips over the pancake to do the same process from the other side.

8. Take the pancake out of the pan when you see the edges getting dry and leaving the pan surface.

9. When you are done with cooking pancakes then you can serve them hot with Veeba strawberry fruit topping and Veeba mango fruit topping.

10. You can also add caramel syrup and butter with the toppings to it.
